YouTube Growth & SEO Specialist

ABS International is looking for a data-driven YouTube Growth & SEO Specialist to join their team on a full-time, overnight schedule in Karachi, Pakistan. This on-site position requires working Monday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM PKT. The successful candidate will lead efforts to optimize YouTube channels by developing metadata strategies, conducting thumbnail A/B testing, and leveraging analytics to inform content planning. Collaboration with editors and designers will be key to increasing watch time and subscriber growth across the company’s YouTube channels.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a data-driven content calendar aimed at targeting high-intent search queries and suggested traffic. Optimize video metadata, including titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, and chaptering, to improve search visibility and suggested views. Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests for thumbnails to boost click-through rates (CTR) and early viewer retention. Monitor YouTube Analytics metrics such as watch time, CTR, and retention, translating insights into actionable improvements for content. Oversee the full publishing workflow, including video uploads, captions, timestamps, cards, and end screens. Lead community engagement by moderating comments promptly, pinning relevant comments, and conducting polls to convert viewers into subscribers. Stay informed about YouTube algorithm updates and creator tool changes, applying these insights to refine channel strategies.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years managing or owning YouTube channels with proven growth in subscribers, watch time, and CTR. Expertise in video SEO and strong familiarity with YouTube Analytics tools. Practical experience with video editing software or workflows such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms. Proficiency in thumbnail design tools and A/B testing processes, including Canva or Photoshop. Availability to work on-site during the night shift hours of 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM PKT. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with project management experience using tools like Trello, Notion, or Slack.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with content research tools such as TubeBuddy, vidIQ, SEMrush, Google Trends, or similar platforms is highly desirable. Prior success in channel monetization strategies, including memberships and sponsor integrations, will be an advantage. A degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field is preferred.
