Since its inception, NADRA has achieved international acclaim for its pioneering work in identity management, e-governance, and the issuance of secure documents. A Journey of Innovation and Excellence

In March 2000, NADRA embarked on a mission to establish a comprehensive National registration system for all Pakistanis. In a remarkably short time, NADRA’s team developed an indigenous, state-of-the-art centralized Data Warehouse, advanced Network Infrastructure, and Interactive Data Acquisition Systems. These innovations enabled the issuance of secure National Identity Cards (NICs), setting a new standard for identity verification in the country.
The introduction of NADRA’s foolproof, highly sophisticated computerized system has significantly reduced the risk of identity theft and enhanced the integrity of personal data. Today, NADRA continues to lead the way in providing secure, reliable, and innovative solutions that empower citizens and strengthen governance.
