Job Description

Plasticcs is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with at least two years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, strong knowledge of tax compliance, and the ability to manage accounts payable and receivable effectively. The candidate must be capable of performing general ledger management and ensuring internal controls are in place and followed rigorously. Effective communication skills and proficiency in Excel are essential for success in this role. The Accountant will contribute to the financial integrity of Plasticcs by accurately processing purchase orders, verifying invoices, and matching transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. This position does not involve team management but requires close collaboration with other departments to support the companys financial operations and reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and accountability.
Responsibilities
 

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Process invoices and verify purchase orders to ensure correct billing and payment procedures.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions using accounting software and SAP ERP.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and documentation for tax compliance and auditing purposes.
• Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and optimize financial operations.
