Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

Job Description:

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the execution of internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Monitor and review quality control data and test results to ensure product compliance with specifications.
• Investigate quality non-conformances, customer complaints, and product failures, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Support vendor quality assessments and ensure raw materials and ingredients meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality activities, audit reports, and inspection records.
• Assist in training and development of team members on quality protocols, GMP, safety standards, and good laboratory practices.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in new product development, process optimization, and quality improvements.
• Keep abreast of industry standards, regulatory updates, and best practices related to quality assurance.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management to support the department’s objectives and overall business goals.

Job Specification:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry
• Hands-on experience in internal & external audits, CAPA management, and regulatory compliance
• Exposure to vendor quality evaluation and raw material inspection processes
• Strong understanding of food safety management systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO / FSSC standards)
• Knowledge of quality control testing, product specifications, and compliance requirements
• Experience in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action implementation
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to food safety, health, environment, and workplace safety
• Competence in maintaining quality documentation, audit records, and inspection reports
• Working knowledge of laboratory practices, safety protocols, and hygiene standards.

The Assistant Manager will be looking after QA Staff at 02 Factories on Shafique More & Karimabad.
