Assistant Warehouse / Warehouse Lead

Ocean Paints Private Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse / Warehouse Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and oversee a dedicated team of five individuals. Your key responsibilities will include managing inventory, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and optimizing the organization of our storage areas. Responsibilities

• Assist with the receiving, inspecting, and recording of incoming stock and materials accurately.
• Maintain and update detailed records for inventory using inventory control systems and software.
• Organize and store items in designated areas to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and complete customer orders for delivery or pickup according to the established schedule, ensuring accurate loading, packing, labeling, and shipping.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all warehouse spaces to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
• Regularly monitor stock levels and report any shortages or damages to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in conducting frequent physical inventory checks and help reconcile any discrepancies found during audits.
• Operate basic office equipment for administrative tasks such as typing, emailing, and data entry as needed.
• Follow established warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of five warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing working atmosphere.
