Banking Operations Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to manage and execute day-to-day core banking activities. This role involves processing a variety of high-volume financial transactions and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process service requests and handle full-cycle loan and card disbursal operations
• Execute MasterCard settlement and prefunding activities
• Handle disbursals for balance transfers, easy cash, early settlements, and loan closures
• Manage loan rescheduling, collection settlements, and inward payments (FTS, PGS, Deem CDM)
• Process interbank payments and FabePay customer statement uploads
• Perform daily reconciliation of assigned general ledgers (GLs)
• Generate liability and clearance letters; post legal payments
• Execute CIF to CIF transfers and lien marking/release operations
• Handle DDA registrations, presentations, representations, cancellations, and SWAPs
• Perform manual postings for exception cases and monitor related emails
• Manage SPDCs (verification, storage, return processing, bounce tracker updates)
• Prepare KYC documentation for civil and police case filings; manage police case submissions
• Conduct ICCS presentations and destroy undelivered or returned cards

Additional Duties:

• Ensure validity of customer instructions before execution or system update
• Maintain tight control over pending applications and documents in line with internal policy
• Deliver services that meet or exceed defined service standards
• Resolve customer issues promptly and feed insights into continuous improvement
• Report suspected fraud or risk-related incidents to relevant authorities
• Coordinate with Sales, Risk, IT, and Customer Experience teams for seamless operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking operations (loan/card disbursal, settlements, payments)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in Core Banking Systems and MS Office tools
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
