Position Summary: The Unit Head of Digital Account Opening & Debit Card Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of digital account onboarding and debit card operations. This role focuses on ensuring a seamless, efficient, and compliant process for account opening and debit card issuance. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, lead a team, and work closely with cross-functional departments to optimize processes, enhance customer experience, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Account Opening Operations:
• Oversee the end-to-end digital account opening process, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act).
• Collaborate with IT and product teams to optimize the account opening platform and user experience.
• Debit Card Operations:
• Manage the entire debit card lifecycle, including issuance, activation, replacement, and deactivation.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of debit card requests while maintaining high service standards.
• Oversee debit card-related operational risks, including fraud prevention, card security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for efficient card production, distribution, and related services.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in the digital account opening and debit card operations unit.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity within the team.
• Set performance goals and monitor progress, providing feedback and guidance to ensure team members meet objectives.
• Operational Efficiency and Compliance:
• Continuously assess operational workflows and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
• Ensure all processes and practices comply with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for digital account opening and debit card operations.
• Reporting and Analytics:
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital account opening and debit card issuance.
• Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize data-driven insights to refine processes and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in banking operations, with a focus on digital account opening, debit card operations, or similar areas.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly KYC, AML, and FATCA.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in banking software and digital onboarding platforms.
