Business Development Executive – IT Industry

Job Description

A company is looking to hire a skilled and motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) with a strong background in IT services and solutions, and 4+ years of relevant experience. This is a remote, full-time position with a fixed monthly salary plus commission, focused on acquiring new tech projects and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in software development, web/app projects, SaaS, IT consultancy, and digital transformation
• Generate qualified leads through strategic outreach (LinkedIn, email, Upwork, and other freelance platforms)
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, startups, agencies, and businesses
• Prepare customized proposals, pitch decks, and respond to RFPs to win projects
• Coordinate with internal technical and project teams to ensure smooth project onboarding
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly business targets

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales in the IT industry
• Proven track record of closing deals and acquiring new IT projects
• Solid understanding of tech services, software development lifecycle, and outsourcing
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote environment
• Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Pipedrive

Preferred Qualifications:

• Based in Pakistan
• Experience working with international clients or freelance platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Clutch
• Understanding of Agile, SDLC, and technical documentation basics
