Job Summary:

We are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Analyst with At Least 5 years of experience to join our team in Karachi. This role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights and optimize data workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience in ETL pipelines, data modeling, and business intelligence (BI) tools, and a keen analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
• Develop and optimize data models, databases, and data warehouses.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage and processing.
• Implement data governance best practices, security policies, and performance optimization.
• Automate data workflows and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Perform data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Use SQL, Python, or R to analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various systems.
• Work with stakeholders to optimize business processes using data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field.

Technical Skills:

• SQL, Python, ETL, Apache Spark, Airflow, AWS/GCP/Azure, Database Management.
• Excel, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI, Data Modeling, Statistical Analysis.

Experience: At least 5 years in a data-related role (Data Engineer or Data Analyst).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and teamwork.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and API integrations.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Google Professional Data Engineer
• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
• Tableau/Power BI Certification
