Remote Control Solutions (RCS) is a leading specialist in innovative access control products, with over 20 years of experience providing reliable and flexible solutions to suppliers and installers worldwide. We are seeking a meticulous and organised Data Entry Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's data, playing a vital role in supporting our operational efficiency. This position offers a competitive salary of $35,000 - $38,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

 

• Accurately enter and update product, customer, and supplier information into our databases and computer systems.
• Regularly review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Generate reports, retrieve data from the database, and perform periodic system backups.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data integrity and security policies.
• Organise and manage electronic files and documents to ensure they are easily accessible.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency across all platforms.

Qualifications

 

• Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A high level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with access control systems or the manufacturing industry is advantageous but not essential.
