BuildPlan is seeking experienced Residential Project Architects to join our contractor network. This is a contract-based role where you’ll receive regular project offers, each priced based on square footage. About the Role

As a Residential Project Architect, you will:

• Work on high-end residential renovations, including kitchen, bathroom, and custom millwork projects.

• Use Rhino & VisualArq to create 3D BIM models and detailed drawings.

• Produce schematic designs, construction documentation, and material specifications.

• Collaborate with BuildPlan’s estimating team to generate project budgets.

• Assist in procurement planning by coordinating with vendors and tracking material deliveries.

• Support construction administration, ensuring quality control and resolving RFIs.

Required Skills & Software

• Proficiency in Rhino & VisualArq (Grasshopper is a plus).

• Strong experience in residential architecture, including interior layouts and detailing.

• Ability to create construction drawings and specifications.

• Experience in material selection and procurement coordination.

• Familiarity with 3D rendering tools (e.g., Enscape) for design presentations.
