Jr WordPress Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Full-Stack Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both frontend and backend development, capable of building, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize UI/UX for performance and user experience.
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into WordPress themes.

Backend Development:

• Develop and modify WordPress plugins to extend functionality.
• Work with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters to customize features.
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).
• Optimize database queries for better website performance.

Performance & Security:

• Improve website speed using caching, lazy loading, and database optimization.
• Follow security best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Implement SEO best practices for higher search engine rankings.

Version Control & Deployment:

• Use Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) for version control.
• Work with staging and live environments for smooth deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and SCSS/SASS.
• Experience in WordPress theme & plugin development.
• Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
• Experience working with WooCommerce.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and AJAX.
• Familiarity with Gutenberg block customization (preferred).
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot WordPress issues.
• Strong understanding of website performance optimization.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
• Basic knowledge of React or Vue.js for frontend customizations.
• Familiarity with Headless WordPress (Next.js, Gatsby, etc.).
• Experience using WP-CLI for WordPress management.
