Web Development Expert

4Strokes Digital is seeking a skilled Web Development Expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development of responsive, user-friendly websites and applications that meet high-quality standards. You will apply your expertise in responsive web design, user experience optimization, and performance enhancement to build modern, accessible, and efficient digital solutions. Working closely with a team of two professionals, you will oversee their contributions while actively participating in Agile development methodologies to deliver projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience with a strong proficiency in WordPress development. Your responsibilities include ensuring cross-browser compatibility, integrating APIs, managing content management systems, and maintaining adherence to accessibility standards. Using version control systems such as Git, you will collaborate effectively to test, debug, and optimize websites to provide seamless experiences for end users on all devices. Your leadership will ensure that the team upholds best practices and continuous improvement in every project delivered.
Responsibilities
 

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive and accessible websites with a focus on user experience optimization.
• Manage and guide a small team of two web developers, fostering collaboration, skill development, and efficient workflow.
• Develop and customize WordPress sites, leveraging deep proficiency to build scalable and robust content management solutions.
• Implement performance optimization techniques to enhance website speed, responsiveness, and reliability across devices and browsers.
• Ensure all web projects comply with accessibility standards to provide inclusive experiences for all users.
• Utilize version control systems like Git to manage source code effectively, enabling smooth collaboration and version tracking.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to expand website functionality and improve overall user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle, maintaining high product quality.
• Work within Agile development frameworks to prioritize tasks, manage sprints, and continually deliver incremental improvements.
• Maintain cross-browser compatibility by testing on different platforms and resolving compatibility issues promptly.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to align web development with project goals and requirements.
