Role Description The Kitchen and Bath Designer will create detailed, production-ready designs for residential kitchen and bath projects, using industry-standard design software and NKBA guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting client and partner briefs, developing space plans and elevations, selecting cabinetry configurations, and preparing accurate dimensioned floor plans and item lists. The designer will collaborate closely with internal teams and external business clients, provide responsive customer service, and support sales partners with design insights that help close projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad, requiring consistent collaboration, timely delivery of designs, and adherence to FKD’s quality and turnaround standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Kitchen & Bath Design skills, including space planning, layout development, and familiarity with NKBA guidelines and cabinet lines.
• Customer Service and Communication skills to manage client requirements, clarify project details, and maintain professional, timely interactions.
• Sales and Communication abilities to support partner businesses, understand customer priorities, and contribute design solutions that drive conversions.
• Knowledge of Cabinetry, including construction types, configurations, and finishes, to create accurate and practical designs.
• Proficiency with kitchen and bath design software (e.g., 2020 or similar CAD tools) and basic understanding of dimensioning and technical detailing.
• Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in residential design.
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Islamabad and collaborate effectively within a design team environment.
