Responsibilities

Summary of Job Profile:

The role of Network Engineer is to work as a Resident Engineer on client site, to support, assist and monitor the infrastructure that will support current needs and future expansion plans of integrating CISCO, Juniper and other products from Arwen’s product portfolio for Arwen’s clients across Pakistan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet etc
• Hands-on Multiple Routing & Switching Protocols i.e. Static Route, OSPF,BGP,IP-SLA etc.
• Maintain or stabilize a secure network for data communication which needs to be quite efficient and reliable.
• Should be able to configure and deploy all the active networks and its equipment
• Be regular with maintaining and monitoring in order to ensure uniform operation of the networks.
• Monitor all network devices for their performance & uptime
• Firewall management with Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper firewalls, VPNs & Policy configuration & management.
• Capacity planning of Network Infrastructure
• Ensure all SLAs are served as per commitment.
• Ensure effective reporting & and analysis of Operational KPIs as per standards.
• Gathers facts and data to be used in the review of proposals which consist of objectives, scope, and user expectations.
• Supports small to large-scale research and development initiatives and/or projects involving the implementation of new technologies.
  
   

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:

 

• Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols & switching technologies.
• Advanced knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology.
• Must be able to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
  
   

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required For The Position

 

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience.
• Qualification: Bachelors’ degree in Engineering.
• Specific technical qualification/certification: JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA,CCNP
