Student Admissions Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Admissions Officer to join our team at Prospects Consulting in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process for foreign universities, ensuring they have all the necessary information, resources, and support they need to successfully apply.

Key Responsibilities:

· Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to prospective students and their families to discuss study options, admission processes, and university selection.

· Information Dissemination: Assist students in understanding the various study programs offered by foreign universities, including information related to course content, career prospects, and admission requirements.

· Application Guidance: Guide students through the application process including university selection, personal statements, and submission of required documents.

· Test Preparation: Advise students on relevant standardized tests (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT) and provide resources or referrals for preparation courses.

· Visa Assistance: Offer information and guidance regarding visa application processes and requirements for studying abroad.

· Workshops and Seminars: Conduct workshops, seminars, and information sessions for students and parents on studying abroad, scholarships, and financial aid options.

· Networking: Maintain strong relationships with foreign universities and relevant educational bodies to stay updated on program offerings, admission criteria, and deadlines.

· Follow-Up: Provide ongoing support to students throughout the application and admission process and maintain regular follow-ups to track their progress.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and outcomes to improve services and reporting.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an asset.

· Previous experience in educational counseling, particularly for students seeking to study abroad, is preferred.

· Knowledge of foreign universities and their admission processes, especially in popular study destinations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and empathize with students and families.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with relevant counseling software and tools.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
