About The Role
The Verification Manager at Galaxy will be responsible for overseeing the verification process for patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare verification, insurance claims, or medical billing, ensuring a seamless and accurate verification process for our patients.
Responsibilities
Requirements
1. Responsible for obtaining verification of patient payer benefits and eligibility for the services.
2. Identifies Private Insurance, Depended Insurance, and their plans Medicare/Medicaid
3. Verify Insurance through portal and also good grip on the portals for verification
4. Verify that the case needs authorization or Referrals as defined by payer.
5. Explain to patients what their financial responsibilities will be and then update the profile accordingly.
6. Identifies the COB according to the insurances and their plans and let know the patient if its need to update
7. knowledge of specific contracts between the agency and various payers
8. Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
9. Answers questions from patients, clerical staff and insurance companies
10. Maintains patient demographic information and data collection in systems.
11. Investigate and resolve customer complaints
12. Gathers all insurance eligibility, termination, and resource information for clinic’s Billing department.
13. Collaborates with patients, and departments to obtain all necessary information prior to patients scheduled appointment.
14. Collaborates with the insurance if unable to verify eligibility and benefits info prior to patients scheduled appointment.

Additional Information
The expected base pay for this role will be between $400.00 – $700.00 monthly at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Galaxy Health-sponsored benefits.
