Role Description:

We are seeking qualified and dedicated Medical Officers to join our dynamic 24/7 Approval Centre team. This role is ideal for MBBS professionals who are passionate about healthcare administration and can thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. You will play a key role in managing medical approvals, supporting clients, and ensuring efficient healthcare delivery in line with insurance policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and assist within the Approval/Call Centre.
• Review and process pre-authorization requests in line with policy terms.
• Issue formal communications (approval or denial letters) to clients.
• Notify clients when benefit limits are exhausted during inpatient treatments.
• Seek client consent for utilizing pool amounts when applicable.
• Email clients with final approval summaries, including financial details.
• Respond to client and agent queries accurately and promptly.
• Handle any additional assignments delegated by management.

Qualifications:

• MBBS degree is required.
• 1 to 2 years of clinical or administrative experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the health insurance sector is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in medical documentation and reporting
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse teams

Note: This position follows a 12-hours rotational shift schedule with alternate shifts
