Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fundraising Managers, Asst. Managers, Fundraising and senior executives, fundraising, roled based in Karachi. The Fundraising Manager will design and implement fundraising strategies, with a strong focus on cultivating and stewarding relationships with major donors, philanthropic partners, and charitable organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new funding opportunities, preparing compelling proposals and donor communications, organizing fundraising campaigns and events, and tracking donations and pledges in coordination with finance and program teams. The role involves developing annual giving plans, setting and monitoring fundraising targets, and providing regular performance reports to leadership. The Fundraising Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure donor engagement aligns with BQF mission, programs, and impact narratives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience engaging and managing relationships with major donors and high-net-worth individuals, with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of philanthropy and charitable sector practices, including experience working with charities, foundations, and institutional donors.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear, persuasive proposals, presentations, and donor updates tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience designing and executing annual giving programs, campaigns, and donor retention strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple fundraising activities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with data, CRM or donor management systems, and basic financial reporting to track performance and inform strategy.
  • Commitment to mission.
  • minimum 5 or 5+ years relevant fundraising experience is mandatory.
  • advancing education and community development, with sensitivity to diverse communities and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and confidently represent the organization in meetings, events, and public forums.
