Abs Shipping & Logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our expanding team. This position requires a motivated professional responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of client accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams to prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction. This role involves directly negotiating contracts and closing business deals to achieve monthly sales and revenue targets. The Account Executive will lead and manage a team of five persons, fostering a collaborative and productive environment to meet company objectives. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or logistics. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a valuable advantage for success in this role.
Responsibilities
 

  • Identify and develop new business prospects to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations, and proactively follow up on customer inquiries to drive sales conversion.
  • Collaborate effectively with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth coordination and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets through strategic account management and business development.
  • Maintain detailed and organized client records, sales reports, and documentation to track progress and support decision-making.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions while closing deals to maximize business opportunities and profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of five staff members, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure team success.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Resolve client issues promptly by leveraging problem-solving skills and maintaining open communication channels.
