Job Description

Montvint is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial activities and ensure accurate accounting records. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, conducting tax preparation, and managing account reconciliation. This role also involves handling accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable management. Proficiency in SAP ERP and QuickBooks including QuickBooks Online is essential for effective invoice processing, expense reporting, and invoice reconciliation. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to maintain financial accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires a candidate with at least two years of relevant experience who demonstrates strong communication skills and a commitment to accuracy. The Accountant will lead a small team of one person, ensuring cohesive collaboration and effective task delegation to meet financial deadlines. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions simultaneously while maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tax preparation activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the validity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain efficient cash flow management.
  • Maintain the general ledger by recording and reviewing all accounting transactions.
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable management to ensure timely processing and resolution of invoices.
  • Utilize SAP ERP and QuickBooks software for effective financial management, including QuickBooks Online.
  • Process invoices and manage expense reporting with precision and adherence to company policies.
  • Perform invoice reconciliation to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Lead and manage a team member, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to enhance departmental productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and financial reporting practices.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in audit preparation and compliance activities.
