Sigma Enterprises is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in financial reporting and managing general ledger activities, along with proficiency in ERP software. This role involves overseeing a small finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. The accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the companys overall financial health.
Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports according to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and comply with accounting principles.
  • Utilize ERP software to streamline accounting processes and maintain organized financial records.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a small accounting team to meet department deadlines and objectives.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues related to accounting entries or transactions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support budgeting activities.
  • Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Continuously improve accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
