Accounts Executive

Kashmirwala Group, a prominent player in the aviation industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Executive to join their team in Karachi. This full-time, on-site position requires a minimum of three years’ relevant accounting experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks and maintaining precise financial records while working independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Payments & Disbursements: Accurately process and issue all Payment Vouchers (PVs) in a timely manner. Prepare deposit slips, generate PSIDs, remittance cheques, and manage all government tax payments. Ensure tax calculations are precise, select the correct heads of accounts, and provide proper narration within the ERP system. Verify the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status before executing payments to ensure correct tax treatment.

- Tax & Compliance Documentation: Download and maintain organized records of Computerized Payment Receipts (CPRs) to support compliance requirements.

- Approvals & Authorization: Continuously monitor emails for payment approvals from senior management, including the Chairman and CEO. Ensure that all transactions are processed only after receiving the necessary authorizations.

- Expense & Utility Payments: Prepare lists of expenses and cheques for utility bills. Ensure timely payment of all operational bills such as water, gas, and internet services across multiple locations.

- Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain well-organized financial records and files for audit purposes. Adhere strictly to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.

- At least three years of relevant accounting experience is essential.

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

- Effective communication and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience within the aviation sector will be considered an advantage.
