BUSINESS PLAN / FEASIBILITY EXPERT

Business Plan Evaluation

• Review and evaluate business plans submitted by SMEs, entrepreneurs, and project sponsors
• Assess the commercial viability, operational feasibility, and strategic alignment of proposed projects
• Verify assumptions relating to market demand, production capacity, pricing, costs, and revenue projections

Feasibility Study Assessment

• Review technical, financial, economic, environmental, and operational feasibility studies
• Assess project risks and identify mitigation measures
• Evaluate financial models including NPV, IRR, Payback Period, Break-even Analysis, and Sensitivity Analysis
• Conduct independent financial and commercial analyses where required

Investment Appraisal & Due Diligence

• Perform financial, technical, legal, and commercial due diligence of investment proposals
• Review project costs, financing structures, implementation schedules, and projected returns
• Assess sponsor capacity, governance arrangements, and implementation risks
• Prepare investment appraisal reports with clear recommendations for management

Project Development Support

• Assist applicants in strengthening project proposals and feasibility reports
• Provide technical guidance on project structuring and investment readiness
• Support development of concept papers, project documents, and funding proposals

Financial Analysis

• Analyse financial statements, cash flow projections, capital requirements, and funding structures
• Evaluate project profitability, sustainability, and financial risks
• Recommend appropriate financing options where applicable

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive records of business plans, feasibility studies, appraisal reports, approvals, and correspondence
• Ensure compliance with Government of Sindh rules, SEDF policies, procurement procedures, and audit requirements
• Support internal and external audits relating to project appraisal activities

Other Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management in support of SEDF’s strategic objectives
