Job Details

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage student fee invoicing, receipts, and monitoring of outstanding student receivables.
• Liaise with banks regarding routine transactions, payment processing, account-related matters, and required documentation.
• Monitor daily bank balances, maintain funds position records, and assist in cash flow management.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, ledger reviews, and other periodic account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, departmental budgets, and periodic budget revisions.
• Monitor actual income and expenditure against approved budgets and assist in preparing budget variance reports.
• Assist in monthly and annual closing activities and preparation of financial statements.
• Act as liaison with other departments to resolve finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with established financial policies, procedures, approval hierarchies, and internal controls.
• Support the in improving accounting processes, reporting formats, and financial system utilization.
• Perform other finance-related assignments and prepare reports as required by management.

Qualification:

CMA qualified / ACCA qualified / CA Finalist.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/accounting systems, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
