Assistant Manager - Production Lubricant

The Assistant Manager coordinates all facets of lubricant production, ensuring processes align with quality management system objectives and regulatory requirements. Leading a team of five, the role involves maintaining process capability, performing quality system audits, and driving initiatives that enhance product quality and operational efficiency. The professional will facilitate the execution of molecular distillation techniques while actively troubleshooting production challenges to optimize output and minimize waste. Additionally, the position plays a critical role in reporting on process metrics, driving compliance with GMP standards, and mentoring team members to develop their competencies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate best practices and innovation in production methods is essential to support the companys commitment to excellence in lubricant product manufacturing.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop and execute production plans that align with company goals and customer demand forecasts.
• Lead molecular distillation processes, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and product quality.
• Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) to analyze and improve production processes.
• Conduct thorough quality audits of manufacturing processes to verify compliance with ISO 9001 and GMP standards.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues using Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing documentation, training, and compliance activities.
• Perform process capability analysis to assess the reliability and efficiency of production operations.
• Coordinate and support a team of five production personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure availability of resources and timely maintenance of equipment.
• Drive continuous process improvements by investigating production bottlenecks and proposing actionable solutions.
• Ensure all safety and environmental policies and procedures are strictly followed during production activities.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production efficiency, quality metrics, and audit findings to senior management.
• Maintain strong communication channels between the production team and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Stay current on industry trends and advances in lubricant production and incorporate best practices into daily operations.
