Product Manager - Lending

HugoBank is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager specializing in lending products to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in SME lending to drive the development and enhancement of lending solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our business customers. This role focuses on crafting innovative product roadmaps, mapping customer journeys, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders to align product strategies with overall business goals, emphasizing effective credit risk assessment and customer segmentation to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings at least seven years of experience in the financial sector, with a strong background in SME lending. This role does not involve managing a team but requires excellent relationship management skills to coordinate efforts across departments and external partners. A deep understanding of market research techniques and regulatory environments is essential to ensure the lending products remain competitive and compliant. Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps aligned with HugoBanks strategic objectives and customer needs.
• Conduct comprehensive customer journey mapping to identify pain points, opportunities, and improvements within SME lending products.
• Assess credit risk thoroughly by collaborating with risk management teams to implement effective lending criteria and policies.
• Ensure all lending products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends and customer preferences.
• Segment customer bases accurately to tailor lending products that meet the specific needs of different SME segments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, sales, risk, and operations to align product initiatives and facilitate successful launches.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support product development and delivery processes.
• Analyze product performance metrics continuously and implement enhancements to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to internal teams and senior leadership to communicate product status, challenges, and opportunities.
• Drive process improvements to streamline product management activities and increase efficiency.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes affecting lending products and proactively adjust product features and criteria accordingly.
