Job Description

The Assistant Manager Sales plays a key role in driving the sales strategy forward by maintaining continuous communication with customers and understanding market trends. While this position does not include managing a team, it requires leadership qualities to guide and support sales executives effectively, ensuring they meet their goals. The assistant manager works cross-functionally to improve supply chain partnerships and aligns their activities with company objectives. This position requires a proactive approach to market development, customer service excellence, and competitor analysis to enhance the companys market position. The role is integral in supporting sustainable growth in a competitive industrial sales environment.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targeted sales growth and expand the customer base within assigned regions.
  • Identify and develop strategic key accounts to maximize revenue opportunities and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
  • Lead customer acquisition initiatives and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring their continued satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct daily market visits to gather intelligence on customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on market visits and sales activities to the Head of Department to support informed decision-making.
  • Identify and develop new markets for CRC and GP products to expand the company's reach and increase market share.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales executives, offering training, mentoring, and assistance to improve their effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and logistics, to ensure smooth order execution and timely product dispatch.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics regularly to adjust sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work collaboratively to improve supply chain partnerships, ensuring product availability and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline developments to support sales forecasting and planning.
  • Participate in business reviews and provide insights to management on sales performance and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations while conducting all sales activities.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, market conditions, and industry best practices to provide informed advice and support to customers.
