Qualification: CA CAF Qualified / CA Finalist (CFAP Level)

Eligibility: Open to all candidates (Fresh & Older FTS status)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bilal Arsalan & Co. Chartered Accountants is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Associate (CA Trainee) to join our Assurance Practice in Karachi. This position offers comprehensive hands-on exposure to external audit, financial reporting, risk assessment, and internal control evaluations while fulfilling ICAP articleship requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Audit Execution: Assist in planning and executing financial statement audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and local regulatory frameworks.

-Financial Reporting: Review and evaluate client financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable IFRS and Companies Act directives.

-Internal Control Evaluation: Test and document internal accounting controls, identifying control deficiencies and recommending operational improvements.

-Audit Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and high-quality working papers, performing detailed analytical procedures and substantive testing across balance sheet accounts.

REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

-Successful completion of all CAF modules or actively pursuing CFAP.

-Sound understanding of International Financial Reporting --Standards (IFRS) and Auditing Standards (ISAs).

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

-Professional dedication, high integrity, and strong analytical skills (candidates with older FTS status are strongly encouraged to apply).
