Full job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our commercial team at Crop2X. Working directly under the Business Development Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in agritech sales, client relationship management, and B2B commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation Support

  • Assist the BDM in identifying and researching potential new clients, including corporate farms, agribusinesses, and agricultural development projects.
  • Compile and maintain lists of qualified leads with accurate contact information.
  • Help draft introductory outreach emails and assist with initial client scheduling.

CRM & Data Management

  • Input, update, and maintain client information, lead statuses, and communication logs within the company CRM system.
  • Ensure all sales data is organized to help the commercial team track their pipeline effectively.

Proposal & Presentation Assistance

  • Support the preparation and formatting of commercial proposals, pitch decks, and technical brochures.
  • Gather necessary data or case study information to include in client presentations.
  • Help organize and prepare materials ahead of client meetings or webinars.

Market Research

  • Conduct basic market research on industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming agricultural events in the region.
  • Summarize findings into brief, actionable reports for the commercial team.

General Administrative Support

  • Assist in taking clear and objective meeting minutes during internal commercial meetings or client calls.
  • Help follow up on minor client inquiries under the guidance of the BDM.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior internship experience is a plus, but not required. A strong interest in sales, business development, and technology is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
