We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who is up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and editing styles, especially for Instagram Reels and short-form viral content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit high-quality short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) with a strong focus on viral-style editing (fast-paced cuts, hooks, captions, transitions, sound effects, etc.)
• Edit long-form podcast content into engaging full episodes and short highlight clips
• Create visually appealing edits that increase retention, engagement, and shareability
• Collaborate with the team to bring creative ideas and improve content performance

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in editing viral short-form content (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of current Instagram and TikTok trends, formats, and audience behavior
• Ability to edit podcasts professionally (audio cleanup, multi-camera sync, storytelling flow)
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Strong skills in 2D animation and motion graphics (especially for reel-style content)
• Ability to create engaging captions, subtitles, and on-screen graphics

Preferred Qualities:

• Up-to-date with the latest editing trends, transitions, and viral formats
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
• Understanding of content strategy and audience retention

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with content creators, brands, or agencies
• Basic knowledge of storytelling and marketing psychology

Need someone who understands attention, retention, and virality at a deep level, not just someone who cuts clips.

This role is for editors who can turn content into high-performing assets, not just “good-looking videos.
