Job Description

The Deputy Manager plays a critical role in achieving assigned sales targets for retail health products across bancassurance and individual policy channels. This position requires strong analytical skills to assess portfolio performance and generate actionable insights to optimize sales results. The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of product features, including nuances related to pre-existing conditions, waiting periods, and exclusion criteria. Effective communication and relationship management are vital in coordinating underwriting processes and enforcing ethical sales practices, ensuring the organization upholds its commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
 

  • Achieve assigned sales targets for retail health products through bancassurance and individual policy channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions and other strategic partners to enhance collaboration and business opportunities.
  • Coordinate case submissions and underwriting processes effectively, ensuring timely policy issuance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with ethical guidelines, regulatory standards, and anti-selection controls to maintain business integrity.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of product features including pre-existing conditions, waiting periods, and exclusions to support transparent customer communications.
  • Analyze portfolio performance regularly, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to senior management aimed at improving sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, underwriting, and compliance to streamline sales operations and reinforce business objectives.
  • Support relationship management activities by engaging stakeholders and promoting customer-centric approaches throughout the sales cycle.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks affecting retail health product performance.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of sales processes by implementing best practices and leveraging customer feedback.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance personal expertise and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.
