Who We Are Looking For:
We're looking for an experienced, self-sufficient Email & SMS Marketing Specialist who can fully own the strategy, copy, design, and execution of retention campaigns across multiple accounts.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a full-stack lifecycle marketer—someone who can strategize, write, design, and execute high-performing email and SMS campaigns end-to-end. You’ll be the go-to expert responsible for delivering results across Klaviyo, Postscript, and other tools, and will manage the full lifecycle marketing function for several eCommerce brands.
What You’ll Do:
- Own Campaign Creation and Client Calendar Planning From A–Z : Develop a campaign calendar for brands assigned to you and execute email and SMS campaigns including strategy, segmentation, copywriting, design layout, scheduling, and testing.
- Build Automations & Flows: Set up and maintain high-converting flows such as Welcome, Abandon Cart, Browse Abandonment, Winback, Post-Purchase, etc.
- Design Beautiful, On-Brand Emails: Use Figma or another editor of your choice (or custom code if needed) to design emails that look great on mobile and desktop—and convert.
- Write Strategic, On-Brand Copy: Craft subject lines, preview text, and body copy that aligns with the brand voice and drives action.
- Run A/B Tests & Optimize: Continuously test and refine subject lines, send times, content blocks, and CTAs to improve performance.
- Audience Segmentation & List Growth: Manage lists and build smart segments to personalize messaging and improve deliverability.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on key KPIs (open rate, click rate, CVR, unsubscribes, revenue per recipient, etc.) and use insights to inform future strategy.
- Client Communication: Hop on strategy calls or send Looms explaining performance, roadmap, and ideas to clients.
Who You Are:
- Fluent verbal and written English copywriting skills
- An experience retention & lifecycle marketer who can handle everything from strategy, copy, design, build, test, and optimize.
- 3+ years of experience in email/SMS marketing for eCommerce brands
- Fluent in Klaviyo and at least one major SMS platform (Postscript, Attentive, etc.)
- Strong portfolio showing high-performing campaigns (with clear results)
- Excellent design eye—clean layouts, great typography, conversion-focused styling
- Strong copywriting skills—can write clear, engaging, persuasive emails for a variety of brand voices
- Ability to manage multiple clients and timelines without dropping the ball
- Agency experience preferred
- Bonus: HTML/CSS familiarity for custom email tweaks
