Job Overview

Crossroad Consultants is looking for an experienced Education Consultant with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in international education counselling and sales.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of overseas education opportunities and be confident in counselling students, handling leads, and converting prospective students into clients.

• Other popular international study destinations

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding suitable international study destinations, universities, and programs.
• Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences.
• Recommend suitable universities, courses, and study options.
• Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and application procedures.
• Handle student inquiries and leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students.
• Convert leads into successful admissions and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Assist students throughout the admission and application process.
• Maintain accurate records of student consultations, applications, and follow-ups.
• Build strong and professional relationships with students and parents.
• Stay updated with university requirements, intakes, and international education trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Education Consultant / Student Counsellor.
• Previous experience in international education counselling and sales is required.
• Strong knowledge of UK, USA, Australia, and European education systems.
• Excellent communication and counselling skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, and sales abilities.
• Ability to assess student profiles and recommend appropriate study options.
• Target-oriented and motivated personality.
• Good command of English.
• Strong client/student handling and follow-up skills.
• Basic computer and CRM knowledge.

This is a counselling and sales-focused position. Candidates should have practical experience in dealing with students, providing study-abroad counselling, handling leads, and converting prospects into clients.
