Novatex Limited, one of Pakistan's leading manufacturing organizations, is committed to operational excellence, innovation, and quality. We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Maintenance Engineer - Electrical to join our Molding Department for our plant based in Landhi, Karachi.

The position is responsible for monitoring and carrying out day-to-day Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) operations for the Molding Department to ensure the timely maintenance of electrical and automation systems, minimize equipment downtime, and support the smooth execution of Molding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of the plant to ensure the smooth functioning of electrical and instrumentation systems in the molding department.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and control system faults, analyse equipment breakdowns, and supervise critical repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect electrical maintenance work during and after completion to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain records and carry out consumption marking of electrical and instrumentation spare parts (local and imported).
• Prepare preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems based on machine operating hours, breakdown history, and maintenance reports.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance activities, calibration reports, and equipment history in the maintenance management system.
• Inspect received electrical and instrumentation spare parts, verify specifications, and report any defects or non-conformities.
• Support the performance appraisal process by coordinating with HR and identify technical training requirements for subordinate staff.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant technical qualification.

2–3 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
