Electrical Technician

HRSG Outsourcing Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on electrical motors and alternators. This role requires detailed inspection, repair, and testing of electrical components to ensure optimal performance and long-term reliability. You will work independently and collaboratively to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency without managing a team. Your expertise will directly support the smooth operation of electrical systems critical to our business activities. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and detailed inspections of electrical motors and alternators. Your tasks include disassembling, examining, and repairing components such as sensors and windings. Reassembling equipment to meet operational standards is crucial, along with conducting electrical tests like insulation resistance, winding resistance, and no-load tests. Your role involves identifying and resolving electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of machinery. Your hands-on approach and technical knowledge will significantly contribute to the reliability and safety of electrical systems managed by HRSG Outsourcing Pvt Ltd.
Responsibilities
 

• Perform routine maintenance and thorough inspections on electrical motors and alternators to prevent breakdowns and ensure consistent operation.
• Disassemble electrical devices carefully to inspect, diagnose, and repair or replace faulty components, including sensors and windings.
• Reassemble motors and alternators, making sure all components meet operational and safety standards before returning equipment to service.
• Conduct comprehensive electrical tests such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, and no-load performance tests to evaluate motor condition.
• Diagnose electrical faults accurately and troubleshoot problems to restore equipment functionality efficiently and minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repair work, and test results to support compliance and future reference.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards while performing all electrical work to ensure personal and workplace safety.
• Collaborate with other technical staff to support overall maintenance goals and share knowledge to improve maintenance processes.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to quickly identify issues within electrical circuits and systems and implement effective solutions.
• Keep updated with new maintenance techniques, industry standards, and electrical component innovations to enhance technical expertise.
