Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Karachi. This critical role will oversee financial control, governance, compliance, and risk management functions, while also leading corporate accounting, reporting, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, ICAP credentials, and a solid command of accounting and governance standards in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Control & Reporting

· Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition

· Prepare and publish timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting

Budgeting & Forecasting

· Coordinate with the FP&A team in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts

· Monitor variances and contribute to financial performance analysis.

Governance & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory reporting and tax requirements

· Establish and enforce governance policies and internal controls to ensure transparency and compliance

· Develop and document accounting policies and business processes aligned with governance best practices

Leadership & Risk Management

· Provide financial risk assessment and recommend mitigation strategies

· Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and data analysis

· Drive improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
