We're Hiring: Google Ads Expert (Remote)

Maxscale Tech is a growing digital agency serving clients across the UK and internationally. We are looking for an experienced Google Ads Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale paid advertising campaigns for our clients.

Our clients primarily include local service businesses which are lead-generation-focused. We are looking for someone who understands how to generate high-quality leads through Google Search campaigns and can take ownership of campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns.
• Plan and execute high-performing Search campaigns focused on lead generation.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Optimize bidding strategies, ad copy, ad assets, and audience targeting.
• Monitor campaign performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Build and manage conversion tracking using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Perform search term analysis and implement negative keyword strategies.
• Optimize Quality Scores and reduce Cost Per Lead (CPL).
• Create and manage Performance Max campaigns where appropriate.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Provide landing page recommendations to improve conversion rates.
• Communicate campaign insights and recommendations proactively.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
• Strong experience managing Search campaigns.
• Experience with local lead generation campaigns.
• Strong understanding of keyword match types, bidding strategies, and campaign structure.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
• Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Experience with conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Performance Max campaigns.
• Basic SEO knowledge and understanding of landing page optimization.
• Experience with local service businesses.
• Experience using Looker Studio for reporting.
