Vivo Pakistan invites enthusiastic and driven individuals to join its maintenance and after-sales service team as an Intern Maintenance Engineer. This position is designed for fresh graduates or students in their 4th semester and above of Electrical Engineering looking to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mobile phone technical issues. Working closely with experienced engineers, the intern will develop essential troubleshooting skills while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting. The role focuses on independent work and collaboration to maintain high service standards without the responsibility of managing a team. This opportunity provides a strong foundation for those aiming to build a career in technical maintenance and customer support within the telecommunications sector. The Intern Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by professionally handling repair requests and providing clear communication regarding repair status and solutions. The position requires careful attention to detail for documenting repair activities and identifying common technical faults to assist the engineering team in enhancing maintenance procedures. The intern will actively engage with internal departments and service consultants to promote workflow efficiency and quality assurance, supporting continuous improvement in service operations.
Responsibilities
 

  • Receive mobile phones from customers and distributors for examination, repair, and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot device faults using technical manuals and guidance from senior engineers.
  • Acquire and apply basic electrical knowledge to identify and resolve common hardware and software issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about repair progress, technical findings, and expected resolution timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repair activities to ensure service traceability and quality control.
  • Assist in analyzing patterns of technical problems and provide feedback to enhance repair methods and service protocols.
  • Support service consultants during peak times or when needed to maintain seamless customer service operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to streamline after-sales service processes and uphold service excellence standards.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by studying product documentation and learning from senior staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall maintenance and service objectives.
