Inventory Assistant

Zeesy Jewellery is seeking a dedicated Inventory Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on maintaining precise control over stock and ensuring that inventory is organized and accurately documented. Working in the fashion and jewellery industry, you will be responsible for managing inventory flow, using Warehouse Management Systems to track and report stock levels efficiently. With a sharp eye for detail and a responsible approach, you will help maintain seamless operations within our fast-paced environment. As an Inventory Assistant at Zeesy Jewellery, you will lead a team of six individuals, guiding and supporting them to optimize inventory processes. Your role involves handling stock pressure professionally while ensuring accuracy and timely updates. You will play a critical part in supporting the brand's growth by applying your expertise in inventory management, reporting, and documentation, all while working closely with other departments to ensure flawless stock control and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
 

• Manage daily inventory activities using Warehouse Management Systems to record and track stock movement accurately.
• Oversee and organize stock in the warehouse, ensuring all items are stored according to company standards and easily accessible.
• Lead and supervise a team of six inventory staff, providing training, support, and direction to foster high performance and reliability.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, including stock levels, discrepancies, and turnover rates, and present findings to management.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to forecast inventory needs and assist in stock replenishment planning.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines within the warehouse to protect products and personnel.
• Identify areas for process improvement within inventory management and suggest actionable solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Manage stock pressure effectively by prioritizing tasks and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in resolving inventory-related issues such as damaged goods, missing items, or incorrect deliveries.
• Support the onboarding and development of new team members to build a skilled and knowledgeable inventory team.
