Job Description

Metal Formings Pvt (Ltd) is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to oversee and manage our inventory operations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in inventory management and a proven ability to efficiently control stock, process orders, and maintain accurate records . You will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing stock discrepancies, and supporting the overall supply chain process. Effective communication skills and strong proficiency in Excel and Word are essential for success in this role. As an Inventory Controller, you will lead a team of 3 persons to maintain the flow of materials and products within the company. Your role involves coordinating stock audits, tracking inventory movements, and implementing improvements to stock control processes. Managing your team by providing guidance, training, and support will be a crucial part of your responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities
 

• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability and minimize overstock or stockouts.
• Oversee daily inventory operations including order processing and stock control activities.
• Use inventory management systems such as SAP IMS to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly to maintain accuracy.
• Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to support supply chain processes and forecast inventory needs.
• Train, supervise, and manage a team of 3 inventory staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Generate reports on inventory status, stock movement, and performance metrics for senior management.
• Maintain strong communication across departments to address inventory-related issues effectively and timely.
• Utilize Excel and Word for reporting, data analysis, and documentation to support inventory management activities.
