IT Administrator

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong IT Administrator to lead network setup, system support, and overall technology enablement across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT infrastructure that supports daily operations and long-term growth.

The ideal candidate will manage network infrastructure, servers, hardware systems, security protocols, user support, and digital infrastructure while continuously optimizing performance, data protection, and business continuity.

This is a hands-on role requiring both operational execution and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities1. Network Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Ensure optimal network performance, uptime, and security.
• Manage VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP configurations, and remote access solutions.
• Monitor network health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Implement network segmentation and security best practices.

2. Server & Data Management

• Configure and maintain Windows/Linux server environments.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Ensure data integrity, secure access permissions, and system reliability.
• Monitor system performance and storage utilization.
• Support cloud integrations and hybrid environments where applicable.

3. IT Infrastructure & Hardware Support

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, printers, and peripheral equipment.
• Manage hardware procurement, vendor coordination, warranties, and lifecycle planning.
• Oversee structured cabling, connectivity, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.

4. Technology Enablement & Business Support

• Support deployment and optimization of internal systems and software platforms.
• Provide Level 2–3 technical support to employees.
• Train staff on IT systems, cybersecurity awareness, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with departments to identify technology needs and recommend scalable solutions.

5. Website & Digital Infrastructure Support

• Manage hosting environments, DNS records, domain configurations, and SSL certificates.
• Perform routine website updates, backups, and security checks.
• Coordinate with external developers or IT partners for advanced development tasks.

6. Security, Monitoring & Compliance

• Implement network security policies and access control frameworks.
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
• Maintain firewall configurations and endpoint protection.
• Conduct periodic system audits and maintain updated technical documentation.
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience

• 4–6+ years in IT infrastructure or network administration roles.
• Strong experience in enterprise network setup and management.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with website hosting platforms (WordPress, cPanel, or similar).

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall management.
• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Zabbix, or similar).
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and access management.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
