Position: IT Support Executive
Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi
Salary Range: PKR 45,000 to 50,000
Timings: 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Executive to join our team in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and networks. This role is essential to maintaining optimal performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Diagnose and resolve system or network problems efficiently.
• System Maintenance:
• Ensure regular updates, backups, and maintenance of all IT systems and equipment.
• Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware as needed.
• Network Administration:
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure network security protocols are followed.
• User Assistance:
• Assist staff with IT-related queries and training on new systems or software.
• Document and maintain IT support logs for future reference.
• Asset Management:
• Maintain inventory of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
• Recommend and procure new equipment or software as required.
• Compliance & Security:
• Ensure compliance with data protection policies.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Familiarity with networking tools and protocols.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience with Office 365 and other cloud-based solutions.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
