HUBKOM (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Technical Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. This role involves managing user accounts through Active Directory, configuring systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations within the companys infrastructure. You will be expected to support Windows operating systems and work with various troubleshooting tools including ping, traceroute, and CLI commands. As an IT Technical Support Officer leading a team of seven, you must demonstrate strong leadership abilities while maintaining high service standards. You will coordinate daily tasks, prioritize support tickets, and collaborate with other departments to resolve technical challenges. This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service under pressure. Your expertise will help HUBKOM (Pvt) Ltd maintain efficient IT systems and ensure users receive timely and effective assistance.
Responsibilities
 

  • Provide first-line technical support to end users through various channels including remote desktop, email, and in-person assistance.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Administer and manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using tools such as ping, traceroute, and network configuration utilities.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and various application software ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations using ticketing systems and documentation tools.
  • Lead and supervise a team of 7 IT support personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and facilitating professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects, upgrades, and system changes with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and best practices in all support activities.
  • Provide training and guidance to end users on system usage and best practices to enhance overall IT literacy.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure and escalate critical issues to higher-level support or external vendors as necessary.
