About The Role

We’re looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python, AWS, microservices, and serverless architectures.

Qualification & Work Experience:

• 5+ years backend development (Python), with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and serverless-first design.
• Deep AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cloud Watch, AWS Cognito).
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, indexing, and query optimization.
• Strong in distributed systems, event-driven patterns, queues/streams (SQS, MQTT, SNS, Kinesis, Kafka).
• Expertise with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB), caching (Redis).
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kuberetes, and laC tools.

Job Description:

• Lead the design and development of scalable microservices and serverless architectures using
• AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway).Build and optimize high-performance backend services and APls (REST/GraphQL) with Python frameworks such as FastAPl, Django, or Flask.
• Architect and manage data ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data processing systems.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and ensure system security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor backend engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate cross-functionally to align architecture with product and data strategies.
