Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to join our growing sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, helping to streamline the sales process, and ensuring that our sales team has the best opportunities to convert into customers. This plays a key role in driving business growth by generating high-quality leads and supporting the sales team in achieving company sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Potential Leads: Conduct market research to identify prospective businesses or customers that fit our target audience, leveraging existing buyer profiles to determine viable opportunities.
  • Evaluate Leads: Qualify and score leads based on criteria such as interest level, budget, company size, and readiness to buy. Provide detailed assessments for the sales team to prioritize.
  • Outbound Communication: Engage with leads via email, phone, or other communication channels to introduce products or services, assess interest, and schedule follow-up meetings for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Teams: Work closely with both teams to share insights, align on target customer profiles, and ensure smooth transitions of qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Utilize CRM Software: Manage and track leads effectively using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Record all lead interactions, update lead status, and monitor progress to ensure no opportunity is lost.
  • Research Prospective Companies: Conduct thorough research on potential leads and their companies by reviewing websites, social media profiles, and other available resources to ensure they are a good fit for our offerings.
  • Refine Lead Generation Processes: Continuously assess and improve lead generation tactics and strategies to optimize results and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with leads, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track, manage, and analyze leads.
  • Understanding of Sales Processes: Knowledge of sales funnels, lead qualification methods, and how to align lead generation strategies with sales goals.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and score leads effectively based on relevant criteria.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to conduct in-depth research to ensure quality leads are pursued and to avoid wasting time on unlikely opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous 2+ years experience in a lead generation or sales support role.
  • Quick learner of the company’s products or services and the ability to tailor communications to specific leads’ needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Must have:

  • Understand the Product/Service: A deep understanding of the company's offerings will help you effectively communicate and identify the best leads.
  • Collaborate Actively with the Sales Team: Regular communication with the sales team will ensure alignment and that leads are handed off effectively.
  • Customize Your Approach: Tailor your lead outreach to address the specific needs and goals of each lead to increase the likelihood of conversion.

Work Environment: This position will be in-office and will require consistent interaction with both the sales and marketing teams to ensure lead generation efforts are aligned with the company’s overall goals.
