Lift Operator

Job Description

Kashmir Wala Group is seeking an experienced Lift Operator with at least 2 years of proven expertise in safely operating lift machinery. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong mechanical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety procedures. This role requires prompt and effective emergency response skills along with a customer-focused approach to ensure a smooth and secure lift operation. The Lift Operator will work independently without team management responsibilities but collaborates closely with other site personnel to maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
 

• Operate lift machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with established safety standards and company protocols.
• Conduct thorough pre-operation checks of lifts to ensure mechanical soundness and identify potential issues.
• Monitor lift performance during operation and take immediate corrective actions when necessary to maintain safety and functionality.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergency situations to protect occupants and minimize risks.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to preserve equipment reliability.
• Maintain detailed logs of lift operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents encountered during shifts.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to passengers, addressing questions or concerns with a customer service mindset.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all users.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and supervisors to report issues requiring specialized repairs or parts replacement.
• Continuously update personal knowledge about lift technologies and safety regulations to enhance job performance.
