Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modelling & Engineering Lead who will be driving the design and implementation of enterprise data solutions, data architecture, and business intelligence capabilities. The role will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms while providing technical leadership across multiple data engineering and modelling initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for :

• developing and maintaining enterprise data architecture blueprints, standards, and reference models
• defining and enforcing data architecture best practices, design standards, and naming conventions
• reviewing data platforms and identifying opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency
• translating business requirements into technical roadmaps and delivery plans
• designing and implementing data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures
• developing data models, including curation and semantic models, to support analytics and reporting
• designing event-driven, real-time, and API-based data integration solutions
• ensuring data governance, quality, privacy, security, and compliance across enterprise systems
• implementing metadata management, data lineage, and governance frameworks
• delivering data and BI initiatives while ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
• defining KPIs, supporting dashboard design, and promoting data visualization best practices
• enabling self-service analytics capabilities for business users
• leading and mentoring data engineering teams while managing multiple workstreams and integrations
• collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

Job Requirements:

You should have/be:

• a bachelors degree in the relevant discipline
• proven experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, and large-scale solution design
• strong expertise in SQL databases, data modelling, and modern data platform architectures
• hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions
• the ability to apply knowledge of event-driven architectures, API integrations, and microservices
• the ability to utilize BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI and/or SAP Analytics Cloud
• experience in leading and managing data engineering teams and complex projects.
• the ability to applying strong knowledge of data governance, security, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
• excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams to deliver strategic data solutions.
