Manager Taxation

We are looking for a Manager – Taxation at Head Office, Karachi.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare & file monthly Sales Tax return.
• Apply Income and Sales Tax withholding rates on the payments based on provincial and federal laws.
• Prepare and file periodical withholding tax related statements with federal and provincial tax authorities on timely basis.
• Prepare working for discharge of advance tax liability, exemption certificates and the company’s annual Income Tax return.
• Compile information of Income and Sales Tax related notices issued by revenue authorities and coordinate with the tax consultants and lawyers.
• Generate Income and Sales Tax reports, support audits, perform reconciliations, and maintain records.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the Income Tax & Sales Tax function, within a manufacturing or textile organization.

Education: MBA, ACCA, CA (finalist) or ACMA.

Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of Income Tax & Sales Tax laws and familiarity with portal and provincial tax portals.
• Good understanding of payroll processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage timelines & meet statutory deadlines.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, reconciliations & analyzing tax data.
• Location: Head Office, Karachi.
