We are looking for detail-oriented Medical Scribes who are passionate about accuracy, efficiency, and supporting healthcare providers.

Position Summary

The Medical Scribe is responsible for documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently while working alongside healthcare providers remotely. This role requires excellent listening skills, strong medical terminology knowledge, exceptional written communication, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation in real time. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document patient encounters accurately and in real time within the EMR/EHR.
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive clinical notes based on provider documentation or live encounters.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Review charts for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist providers by organizing documentation, referrals, orders, and follow-up information as directed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Communicate professionally with providers and internal team members.
  • Meet productivity, turnaround time, and quality standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Scribe (required).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.
  • Experience working within EMR/EHR systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, reliable, and highly dependable.

Technical Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing and remote clinical documentation.
  • Quiet, distraction-free home office environment.
  • Modern computer (Windows or Mac) capable of running multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Quality headset with noise-canceling microphone.
  • Webcam for meetings and provider communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple medical specialties.
  • Familiarity with telehealth documentation.
  • Experience using AI-assisted documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and insurance documentation.
